Genie Espinosa is a children’s illustrator represented by Advocate Art.
Her work is very cheerful and colourful, with a lot of character. She has always been a massive fan of Disney animations and so this has been a big inspiration behind her illustrations.
Genie does a lot of digital work on Illustrator, but usually starts out with a sketch or two to jot down the main idea.
Genie’s favourite book is ‘The Picture of Dorian Gray’ and movie wise she has seen Pulp Fiction too many times to count! She also loves music, and only listens to Musicals while drawing, they help her concentrate and feel in harmony with the image.
